Randy owns four UPS Stores in the Twin Cities and thoroughly enjoys the day-to-day work life of serving customers, coaching and investing in a team of employees and contributing to our local economy.
Randy served for several years as the elected chair of the franchisee advisory council that represents all 4,400 UPS Store owners nationwide. He has the local responsibility to train new UPS Store owners and managers.
Randy also has over 14 years of experience as a corporate executive developing winning business strategies for Pillsbury, Quaker Oats, and Ecolab.
Randy recognizes the importance of reliable customer care, vibrant teamwork, perceptive strategic planning, and vigilant budget management and will bring those common sense practices to St. Paul.
Randy holds engineering bachelor’s degrees from the University of Minnesota and Bethel University as an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Randy and his wife Jan are both Bethel University graduates and have been married 33 years. They’ve lived in Shoreview for over 18 years and raised a wonderful family among the good neighbors, teachers, schools, parks, and businesses in this community. Randy and Jan have two sons (Marc -US Marine and Micah - Delta Airlines), a daughter (Elise - Taylor University), and a daughter-in-law (Elissa - Camp Pendelton), and served as U.S. parents for an international exchange student (Lucy - ND State University).
